Un par de ofertas de trabajo que me llegan para trabajar en la empresa Pademobile, que se ha instalado hace poco en el CETIC, en Granada.

Job Description: System Support Consultant (level 2)
Nombre del puesto: Tecnico de sistemas

FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Install, maintain and support a highly available Linux server plant in a fast-paced enterprise environment
– Support Ubuntu and Red Hat servers running mission-critical application and databases
– Support and maintain systems running:
a) RHEL 6
b) Ubuntu 12,14
– Consult with other technology teams
– Maintain system efficiency.
– Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.
– Troubleshoot problems reported by users.
– Analyze and isolate issues.
– Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
– Evaluate and modify system’s performance.
– Identify user needs.
– Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
– Minimum of 2 years of Linux/Unix Administration experience
– Experience with information security
– Experience with virtualization in a production environment
– Excellent troubleshooting skills
– Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with shell commands
– Ability to work closely with peers, team members and others in a collaborative manner.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
– Proven work history supporting 24/7 mission-critical Linux/Unix systems
– Experience supporting databases
– Experience with application load balancing technologies
– Experience with centralized backup environments
